Kanto or no Kanto?

Well basicly, what regions do you want? Please vote in the poll, your votes count for what you'll be playing in.

This is deciding between Kanto/New region for the moment. We are not saying that more regions will not be added. Oh and if you have time, please post WHY.

Anyway, I was thinkin', would anybody like the Johto Region as well? (Pokemon Gold/Silver/Crystal) IMO, it was the best of the series.

I voted new one only, because we already have access to the kanto area. It would only be a waste of time to invent the wheel again just to put it in this game. But if you want to invent a triangle, go for it! Then we'll have...crap, whats usefull and a triangle...? oh well, you get my point.

Me too! I loved the Johto region. It is my favorite, I believe Jons as well. I don't know if we will pack all 3 regions in one game, it may lag like hell. We will see... (Stay tuned)

Do you know me or do you know me? What Ruck said is 100% true, it'd be awesome, BUT it would probably lag the entire game up (depending on peoples operating system...).

U could found out how the guys of stickonline made it so the client doesnt get packages for anything of the plyers screen

Yes thats very simple you turn off objects out of view, but it would still use memory and that technique only works if there are less players than region. So at first it will work, but the more people online... not so good. It's very simple, the more stuff we put it, the longer it takes to play - but there are some techniques to extend the reasonable "limit".

new and old regions are nice to have ya know,
that way u get to explor old 1's but also get new
place's to chek out.

Heh even though this post is extremely old I still wanted to cast meh vote xD ... I would perfer both regions due to the facts that is stated ,it creates more of an area to explore, more pokemons to play with, and its always fun to have more things to do xP
